01 · Challenge

Care that could not reach its patients

A regional clinic network with more than 40 locations was drowning in demand: a six-week appointment backlog, a 28% no-show rate, and rural patients driving two hours for a fifteen-minute consult.

  • Six-week average appointment backlog
  • 28% no-show rate across the network
  • Rural patients hours away from the nearest clinic
02 · Approach

Mobile-first, built for weak signal

We designed the platform around the worst connection in the coverage map: adaptive-bitrate WebRTC that survives rural 3G, offline-first health records on FHIR, and e-prescriptions wired straight into the national registry.

Video Consults
WebRTC · adaptive bitrate for 3G
Health Records
FHIR · offline-first sync
e-Prescriptions
National registry integration
03 · Build

From three pilot clinics to the whole network

Twenty weeks from kickoff to full rollout. We piloted with three clinics, tuned triage and scheduling flows with practicing physicians, then scaled to the entire network with GDPR-grade audit trails end to end.

  • One React Native codebase for iOS and Android
  • Physician-tested triage and scheduling flows
  • Full GDPR audit trail on every record access
04 · Results

A clinic that fits in a pocket

Half a million patients later, video consults are no longer the fallback - they are how the network runs. No-shows dropped to less than half the old rate.

From the clinic floor

The turning point came one week into the first pilot.

Our physicians were the biggest skeptics. One week into the pilot they were booking video slots themselves - now it is simply how the clinic runs.
