Privacy Policy

Pulse My Mac ("the App") is a macOS utility that prevents your Mac from sleeping and maintains your online presence in messaging applications. Your privacy is important to us.

The App does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Specifically:

• No analytics or telemetry data is collected
• No crash reports are sent to any server
• No personal information is stored (names, emails, accounts)
• No network connections are made — the App operates entirely offline
• No cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers are used

The App stores the following data locally on your Mac only:

• First launch date — stored in macOS Keychain to track the free trial period. This date never leaves your device.
• Purchase status — validated through Apple's StoreKit framework using your App Store receipt. No purchase data is sent to our servers.
• Your preference for "Open at Login" — managed by macOS ServiceManagement framework.

No data is stored on external servers. All data remains on your Mac.

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Full Version") to unlock unlimited use after the 30-day free trial. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.

Purchase receipts are validated locally on your device using Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. No receipt data is transmitted to external servers.

The App requests Accessibility permission from macOS. This permission is used solely to:

• Generate minimal mouse movement events (1 pixel)
• Generate modifier key press events (Shift key)

These events keep your system's idle timer from activating, which maintains your "Online" status in messaging apps. No keystrokes are recorded, no screen content is captured, and no data leaves your Mac.

Additionally, the App uses macOS Keychain to securely store your trial start date. This is a local, encrypted storage managed by macOS — no data leaves your device.

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. It uses only Apple's native frameworks (AppKit, CoreGraphics, IOKit) and Apple's StoreKit 2 for in-app purchase validation.

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
